Beaufort, a MedTech contract research organization (CRO), today announced a series of executive appointments as the company enters its next stage of growth, strengthening leadership across enterprise strategy, operations and commercial development. The changes reflect a clear focus on delivering greater impact and value to sponsors while positioning Beaufort to meet their future needs in a shifting MedTech landscape.

Together, the appointments reinforce Beaufort’s commitment to sponsor success while supporting continued investment in specialized expertise, technology and resources that broadens the solutions Beaufort offers MedTech developers.
Clay Gill Named Chief Executive Officer
Gill has been with Beaufort for more than 15 years and served as President, where she led global operations and drove innovation and excellence across business functions and client engagement.
As CEO, she will set the company’s strategic direction and guide the investments needed to deliver on its long-term vision. Gill will focus on the use of emerging technologies and comprehensive data to generate deeper clinical insights, expand partnerships that extend Beaufort’s core capabilities, and attract experienced talent across the clinical, regulatory and quality disciplines critical to MedTech development.
Nilufer Celenk Promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer
Celenk, who previously served as Senior Vice President of Global Clinical Operations, brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience in clinical operations, program management and strategic development.
Since joining Beaufort, Celenk has played a central role in advancing the company’s clinical program management capabilities, improving cross-functional execution and applying new technologies and best practices to clinical trial delivery. As President and COO, she will lead Beaufort’s operational and commercial functions, with responsibility for clinical and regulatory operations, business performance and sponsor outcomes.
Christine Scheve Joins as Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer
Scheve recently joined Beaufort to lead the company’s commercial strategy and build and expand its commercial infrastructure to better serve sponsors across medical devices, diagnostics and emerging health technologies.
Her experience spans research, product development, regulatory strategy and executive leadership, giving her firsthand understanding of the scientific, operational and commercial considerations sponsors face throughout product development. She works closely with Beaufort’s clinical, regulatory and quality teams to connect client needs with the right expertise and resources while advancing account strategy, pipeline development and client partnerships.
Building for What Comes Next
“MedTech sponsors are navigating increasingly sophisticated development programs and expect more from the partners they choose to work with,” said Gill. “We will build on more than two decades of MedTech expertise by investing in the capabilities, technologies and partnerships that will create even greater value for our clients, while preserving what has always set Beaufort apart: the agility, accountability and expertise MedTech sponsors demand.
“Nilufer and Christine are critical to that vision. Nilufer brings exceptional operational leadership, a deep understanding of clinical development and an unwavering focus on sponsor success. Christine brings the technical fluency and commercial perspective to connect client needs with the full strength of our organization. Together, we have a leadership team focused not simply on where the industry is today, but on what our sponsors will need from us next.”
